Barbot Farm Vermin Control specialise in the removal of Rabbit pests from all locations, should it be Rural, Farm Yard, Equestrian, Golf Courses or Industrial Area’s. Rabbits make great pets and are fantastic to watch in the wild but in some situations become the ultimate pest. We have seen destruction that you would not believe possible from such a cute little animal!

Rabbits breed up to 5 times a year and have on average 7 kittens per litter. (35 Rabbits) It is estimated that pre breeding season population is estimated to be 40 million. Each warren can contain up to 20 Rabbits. 20 x Rabbits breed 5 times a year = 700 Rabbits! tings can soon get quite out of hand if no action is taken.

In 1954 a law was past by parliament – The Pest Act 1954 where you legally have responsibility to control Rabbit numbers on you property or land.

You must control rabbits on your land in this area. If this is not possible you must stop them causing damage to adjoining crops by putting up rabbit proof fencing. If you don’t take action the Secretary of State for the Environment can enforce control and prosecute if this action is not taken.

We work regularly at night on Equestrian area’s to prevent expensive Horses falling down holes and breaking their legs and Golf Courses where expensive grass has been laid on ‘Greens’ to prevent digging and destruction of the area.

Our Night Vision, Idleback Shooting Chair and Air Guns are extremely effective for this problem as they are silent and discreet. We understand people like to see Rabbits but they must be humanly controlled.
